It’s a few days before Christmas and we are having a wonderful rain storm. Last night was one of the biggest thunderstorms we have had in a long time. The waves are big at the lagoon beach and the tractor is trying to keep the river mouth open and flowing to the ocean. Unfortunately I forgot my camera at home. I must get one that lives in my car.

December is a beautiful time at the Carmel River Beach. Every morning Kim and I take a walk there. This ritual began when I was just a child, I used to get up very early in the morning with my mother and walk Carmel Beach. I am finally starting to understand how this word press site works. At times it has been hard to get my head around the working mechanics of it. It is much different from the laborious updating of every page I need to change. One fun thing I am experiencing is going back into our past events and seeing where we have been.
