Have a great weekend!
Have you always wanted to visit Wildcat Hill and see Edward Weston’s Darkroom? Here is your chance!
In this 25-minute video Kim takes you into Edward Weston’s original darkroom and shows you the very simple techniques that Edward used throughout his life – a historical journey back in time to see how this master used basic tools to make incredible art.
This negative called “Spring” was photographed at Wildcat Hill in 1943. The nude in the photo is Charis Wilson, Edward’s last wife. Edward Weston photographed many wonderful photographs of Charis around his home during the 1940’s.
Please enjoy this short 3 minute video recapping our favorite locations from our 2014 Andalusia Spain Photo Nude Workshop. We photographed in the Alhambra, castles, palaces, a 14th century home, Tito Pepe – the most famous Sherry Winery in Spain and a beautiful modern estate in Sotogrande. We photographed, ate amazing culinary delights, laughed, made long lasting friends and had a wonderful time. Thank you Miguel Soler-Roig and all of the workshop participants.
We are currently working on 2 shows in Spain from our last years workshops. We will attend the openings just before our next Spain Workshop April 17-22, 2015. Please join us this spring for our Catalonia Spain Nude Photo Workshop – “The Modernism of Gaudi and the Surrealism of Dali”
Registration is now open – Only a few spaces left. Read more at Group Workshops…

We hope you enjoy this video. Epson came to our home and interviewed Kim about Black and White Photography and his life experiences. “Journey to the home of Edward Weston and see his original darkroom. Then listen to his grandson Kim talk about his photographic heritage workshops and his own highly collected traditional Black-and-White work. To many, Black-and-White is the very definition of photography. In addition to a series of tutorials on digital Black-and-White printing, we are honored to present in-depth interviews from two photographic icons (John Sexton) who work with traditional Black-and-White tools. Their incredible insight provides inspiration to us all as we celebrate the Black-and-White print, be it traditional or digital”. Thank you Dano!
