Edward Weston by Kim Weston
“N43-CH-1 Spring 1943″
Several years ago Kim’s father, Cole Weston gave Kim this original Edward Weston Negative and told him that he was free to reproduce and print it. It is so special to us because it was taken in our home at Wildcat Hill in 1943. The model is Charis Wilson Weston, his wife at that time.
This photograph is very unique because it is the only negative from the extensive Edward Weston archive that can be reprinted to this date. All of Edward’s negatives have been retired and are in the collection of the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson AZ.
We would like to offer this photograph to collectors for $620 per photograph. Kim always believed that Edward would still want his admirers to be able to collect his work.
