Can't find the right date and
workshop to fit your needs? Well we can help accommodate you with a private
Photography Tutorial here at Wildcat Hill.
Kim teaches one day tutorials that are specially designed to fit your needs.
You create the day with what you want to learn.
Do you need some instruction on how to load film into a 4x5 or 8x10 camera?
How to focus it and use the tilts on it? Perhaps it
might be composition instruction you are looking for or are interested in
photographing a figure model or a still life in his custom built studio.
Then you might think about developing negatives or refining your printing
skills in his darkroom, Kim teaches it all and shares with you how he works
in the darkroom,
what he uses and what works best for him.
Kim has been a fine art
photographer for over 30 years learning his skills in the darkroom from
helping his father Cole Weston print his grandfather Edward Weston's
negatives. He also assisted his uncle Brett Weston for 15 years. We can go
through the whole process of photographing, developing, and printing. It is a great way to learn on a one to one basis. All format cameras
accepted.
Coming from out of town? We offer our guest studio
"Bodie House" for rent during
your tutorial and while you
explore the surrounding areas. To
