Fine Art Figure Photography Workshop in Central California

Weston Photography’s April Fine Art Figure Workshop

CC Flight modeling on Wildcat Hill

Photographing on Edward Weston’s Wildcat Hill

The weather was amazing during our April Workshop on Wildcat Hill. Springtime winds ensured the sun was out in full force over the weekend. Our three models: CC Flight, Stephanie Sinn, and Goblin Goddesss, posed beautifully in the many different settings we have on offer. On the first day, we photographed on Wildcat Hill as we got to know the models and each other. We had eight creative photographers who excelled over the three days of photographing.

It was a treat to see the photographers work togethor in groups and build upon each others ideas. The creative spirit was thriving amongst the photographers and you could see it in the images that were created. We had two photographic reviews which is a huge part of growing as an artist. We were able to sit and discuss each others work which helped photographers build upon their ideas.

Photographing in Carmel Valley

We had the fantastic opportunity to photograph at a private residence in Carmel Valley on our second day of photographing. Carmel Valley is a jewel of a location, and we took advantage of our opportunity to photograph there. The flowers were in full bloom, and the old adobe-style building provided much-needed inspiration for the group. Before the day ended, we constructed a shoot with all three models posing around the flowing fountain, which was a fantastic way to finish the day. We can’t wait to go back next year to photograph!

Thank you to ALL!

We always leave our workshops incredibly inspired by the creativity from our participants and this workshop was no exception! We loved seeing what everyone was able to create during the three days of working with the highest caliber fine art figure models. Stay tuned for photographs over the weekend and thank you to our participants for a memorable event!
