Private Tours of Edward Weston’s Former Home

We love having people over to experience Wildcat Hill. We live at Edward Weston’s former home in the Carmel Highlands. Edward lived on Wildcat Hill from 1938 to 1958 and created some of his most iconic Point Lobos images. The house has been kept true to its original form and described as a living museum. We believe keeping the house as it was when Edward lived here is important so people can see how simply he lived.

Edward’s darkroom consists of a 6ft sink, a print frame, and a lightbulb. He only printed contact photographs meaning the finished image is the same size as the negative. Edward hauled a large 8x10 camera for most of his life.
