It is a great practice to share your photography. It not only allows other perspectives but it brings you out of your comfort zone. It is not always easy to present your work as it can be very personal to you. Doing morning evaluations of the images taken the day before is a critical part of the process at our workshops. We don’t like to call it a critique because art is subjective. We sit and evaluate the work and provide insights on possible framing or angle improvements for the shot. We also ask the artist to talk about the image. Why did you photograph it? What were you trying to tell?

Many times ideas are flushed out during this process and the artist can go back and re-create the shot in a different way. Having extra sets of eyes on your work can help you steer your vision in a new direction. Please enjoy some of the work that was created over the weekend during our 2022 April Improving the Photographic Nude Workshop on Wildcat Hill!
