Weston Workshops: Photographing the Human Form in April 2024

Photographing the Human Form in April 2024

We had a blast this April working with a fantastic trio of models and a great group of photographers. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and created stunning photographs of the fine art figures over three days of the workshop. Our models, Whitney, Femina, and Titania, posed beautifully and were able to interpret the photographers' vision to a tee. We photographed at various locations, allowing ample creativity for the artists. We had a nice variety of digital and film photographers in this workshop. We even had one participant using an 8x10 view camera! Seeing each artist's different shooting techniques and how they approach a scene is always a treat.

We love the four-day photography retreats, allowing us to conduct two photo evaluations during the workshop. We encourage our participants to revisit their shoots from the previous day to continue to work on what they are trying to convey.

Fine Art Figure Models

The models were able to use their surroundings to convey a variety of emotions that were then recorded by the photographers’ cameras. From mirrorless digital cameras to an 8x10 view camera, each photographer approached their surroundings differently.

Fine Art Photographers in ACTION!

We worked with six amazing photographers who worked exceptionally well with each other. Participants of Weston Workshops create long-lasting bonds between themselves.
