The September POM "In Dali's Shadow" was taken in the famous Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres, Spain. The museum is such an amazing space and we were so lucky to spend a morning there. It was exciting, whimsical and such a privilege to be able to photograph in the museum. We had 4 talented models and we moved from room to room sharing the space with each other. It was challenging to arrive at a location and have a limited amount of time to look and make a photo. The various collections of the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí include all types of works of art: paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, installations, holograms, stereoscopes, photography, etc. Of them, some 1,500 are on exhibition at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres. 2016 May Print of the Month - Floating Nude, Barcelona
The 2016 May Print of the Month "Floating Nude" was photographed during our 2015 Nude Photo Workshop in Barcelona, Spain on the rooftop of Casa Milà better known as La Pedrera. Casa Milà is probably one of the most famous buildings of the Catalon Art Nouveau period and one of Antoni Gaudi's most ambitious works. It is a container that is a work of art in itself. "La Pedrera" has a catalogue of top level art exhibitions and events all year round, as well as a program of shows, lecture seasons and debates that set the tone for a dynamic, changing society. It is also a place where knowledge and learning are the keys to the construction of a rich, dynamic future society.

"Under the Andalusian Sky"Opening May 5 8PM-9PM Exhibit Dates: May 5 - July 12, 2016 Fundación Valentín de Madariaga Av María Luisa, s/n, 41013 Sevilla, Spain +34 954 36 60 72 "Under the Andalusian Sky" shows the work of 10 international photographers. Cristina Iturrioz, Paul Jones, Mille Kalsmose-Hjelmborg, Fran Marti, Juan Mas-Baga, Friedrich Saller, Miguel Soler-Roig, Michou Von Beschwitz, Kim Weston and Philip Young. In 2014 they followed the route that Washington Irving made in Andalusia, nearly two centuries ago. This route runs through the steps followed in 1829 by the romantic American writer and diplomat, fascinated by the wealth and exoticism of the Spanish-Muslim culture. After being exhibited in Tarragona, Barcelona and Ibiza, the show now arrives to Seville in its second year of scheduled tour around Spain, in museums and institutions.
2016 April Print of the Month - Casa Mila, La Pedrera, Barcelona
The 2016 April Print of the Month - Nude and Shadow, Gaudi was photographed on the top of La Pradera in Barcelona, Spain. Known as one of Gaudi's last buildings, before he dedicated himself to the building of the Sagrada Familia. The Casa Milà is one of the best known and most impressive buildings in Barcelona. It has no right angles. It is known as the Quarry house. We spent a memorable morning on the rooftop of this building as the sun came up over the horizon. It was amazing and inspiring to be there. Watching the morning sun come up and cast beautiful shadows along the walls and patios. It was enchanting. Here are a few snapshots we took while we spent the morning on the rooftop. 2016 January Print of the Month
We are excited to announce the 2016 Print of the Month Portfolio! This year's selection will be from our 2014-2015 Spain Nude Photo Workshops. The first nude photography workshop was in Andalusia, Spain, 2014 and the 2nd nude workshop was held in Barcelona, Spain, 2015. It was an amazing experience that we shared with a select handful of photographers. Here are a few posts about the workshops:
Spain Photo Workshop Highlights!
Beyond a unique photographic experience, here are the highlights that will complement our program during this fabulous workshop: On April 16th, after our welcoming arrival in Barcelona we will visit the Picasso Museum and see the exhibition Picasso/Dali. Dali/Picasso. For the first time in history, two legends side by side in an exhibition celebrating the surrealism. In the outskirts of Barcelona we will visit the famous Cathedral of Cava: CODORNIU where we will have lunch. Grupo Tragaluz will offer us a extraordinary culinary experience during our nights in Barcelona, where we will try mediterranean food and tapas, served with the best catalan wines. Also during the weekend in the Costa Brava, we will stay in PERELADA, a unique vineyard close to the Dali Museum in Figueres.
Finally on the afternoon of April 22nd, at the end of our workshop, we will have a private visit to Foto Colectania Foundation, the most important photographic archive in Spain. More surprises will happen along our program. But for these you have to join us...

2014 Andalusia Spain Photo Workshop Video

We photographed in the Alhambra, castles, palaces, a 14th century home, Tito Pepe - the most famous Sherry Winery in Spain and a beautiful modern estate in Sotogrande. We photographed, ate amazing culinary delights, laughed, made long lasting friends and had a wonderful time.
