This is not a traditional photography workshop. This is an opportunity to experience the creative process of one of America's great artists and photographers, Kim Weston grandson of Edward Weston. Thinking Like an Artist is a perfect introduction into our April Wildcat Studio Nude Workshop. This seminar will prepare you for the two days of photographing on Wildcat Hill where you can take your ideas and put them into action with professional models!
Focusing In is a series of blogs that will highlight the many historic significances of Wildcat Hill, Edward Weston’s last residence before his death in 1958. Each week we will select a unique photograph, artifact, or piece of memorabilia that we believe is significant and worth looking into. Please accompany us on this journey into photographic history, you won’t be disappointed.
We are so proud of the amazing work that Maryam created here on Wildcat Hill and abroad. She has a unique eye for subtle details that makes you want to see more. Her images radiate using the platinum process and seem to jump off of the paper. Kim and Gina will be joining Maryam in London at the opening of her show!
